  Honda Hunter Cub owner here. As a young person, I learned the hard way that a low quality and/or off brand bike was no fun when it had mechanical problems. When I was looking for a scooter during covid, I saw the CT125 at the dealer and knew it was what I wanted. 4 years in, and the engine purrs like a happy kitten with minimal maintenance. Barring an accident, I fully expect it to outlast me. I have bigger bikes now, but the little red mule is still my favorite.

  I have a Yamaha FJ1200 from 1988.<br>It still runs. Is reliable engine wise (brakes and fork seals not so much) and is still a joy to ride.

  I have a Suzuki DL250 V-Strom. It has over 79.000 km, around 50.000 miles and it never needed more than oil and gas. The mechanic tells me his friend has the same motorcycle with over 300.000 km, over 200.000 miles on it in mint condition which never needed anything more.

  Agree on that honda cub,my friend is 3rd generation who inherit the bike from his father and first owner his late grandpa,he used it for 16 years hence and forth to workplace everyday,12 years ago he rebuild the engine with modification which is typical SE Asia people would do,done the bodyworks,new paint,110cc crankcase,4 gears,nice auto clutch and clutch plate,bigger bore,upgrade cam and carb,upgrade the wiring from old original 6V to 12V,his bike can easily went 70mph,max maybe 75mph to 80mph,after 12 years more than 40 miles daily,he decided to give old fella lighter duty after getting a new honda,3 months ago his bike finally goes to his nephew who just already had bike license,he ride ride it to school and part time work at his father workshop around 5-12 miles a day,it&apos;s fourth generation now,I as the person who witness that,can&apos;t believe the exact same bike that his late father used to sent him to school being ridden by his son (my friend) and now grandchildren continuing the legacy..

  Honda 1500 6 cylinder has crazy lifespan. &nbsp;As good as the 1800 is the 1500 has an even better reputation.

  I own a 1985 Honda NT649, also known as the Hawk 650GT. It only lasted for about five years on the North American market but much to Honda&apos;s chagrin, it has become a cult classic. Here&apos;s the kicker! It&apos;s motor, a V-twin 650 was yanked out of the original Africa V-twin 650 and pushed into an all newly designed race frame. One bitch of a machine!<br><br>Thing is, you show the new Africa 1000 in both an inline twin and a V-twin, which is it???

  I know the Cubs are the most sold bike in &nbsp;history but the Xr650 and the Dr 650 are the real beasts. This bikes are just overbuild in a way that they just don&apos;t die, don&apos;t matter where you throw them.
