I feel like the middle and thumb are an instant DEAD if you annoy them. HOWEVER I feel like ring can give you a fate worse than dead if they get creative and for the way to annoy is vandalism

Here's the thing about the Pinky, because there is a little more that we know from certain context clues. There are a total of 108 members of the Pinky, if you are an apprentice, then you aren't a member as seen by Ren's tags not including Pinky. All 108 of them are named after the 108 stars of destiny or the 108 heroes if you prefer, all categorized into a category of 72 and 36 (earthly fiends and something else). We know you don't necessarily need to know every other member of the Pinky, you could meet another member of the Pinky and just not know that they were also a member, so we know that no one gives a damn about eachother unless you are the head honcho, The Tiankui Star. Now then, assuming that in order to piss off the whole Pinky, you'd have to essentially mess with the Tiankui Star, which is essentially God's wrath upon the city as you're now being chased down by people who are absurdly strong. The strongest we've met is Tiangang (Jia Qiu) and he's only number 2 in terms of power, furthermore he was holding back in his fight against the LCB. Realistically if you manage to mess with the WHOLE PINKY, that's a feat in itself, but realistically you'll just die if you upset an average star, albeit even the average stars have absurd power. (Dihui star is near the middle of the rankings, albeit earthly fiends are ranked differenly from heavenly spirits)

Just one thing to add to the ring section: The civilians that are in areas protected by the ring need to do regular tests about art and things related to that. If you get a lower grade one time you will receive a notification, get another lower grade and will result in the withdrawn of the ring protection, and if you get a third lower grade it will result in immediate execution. So an easy way to piss the ring is literally just being an idiot.

I feel if you anger the Pinky as a collective, it would be some random shmuck that would suddenly began running you down. Since anyone, including those of other syndicates, can be a part of the Pinky, as long as they demonstrate the worthiness to hold one of the many stars

The fact that most of them are in "Will kill you on sight" territory while the Index has a chance to not kill you if it deems you as unimportant enough it automatically what makes it the safest finger to piss off imo even if they could technically give you a fate worse than death if the prescripts say so and they always know your location Edit: Spelling

As far as we know the pinky is based off the 108 heroes/demons from the story of “the water margin” from Asia. Which is a collection of characters that were known for being really good at fighting or other aspects of combat. With the star titles they have each referring to a specific character in the story. In other words they’re like when someone says a certain trigger word or phrase for a community and a bunch of people start randomly coming after you for it.

The Pinky - You can't really piss off the entire Pinky off, since they're all just sleeper agent. The Ring - Again, you can't really piss them off, since they're just funny artists. The Middle - Fuck. The Index - FUCK. The Thumb - You may be able to survive if you belong to an organization, and rank higher than they would, since they care about hierarchy even outside of The Thumb.
