So many good points in this episode! Im focusing on making singleness content this February and one of the biggest things I plan on emphasizing is being friends with people first. I used to be one of those people who wanted to date and get married fast. But I realize that there is so much beauty in being friends first including getting to know someone without the pressure of intimacy which often puts on rose colored glasses and can be dangerous. <br> I am also leaning towards the idea that love is a choice because I realize that though God may designate us to be with someone, but that person also has free choice. So if they don't choose you as well, the relationship cannot work. this is becoming a lot more clear to me as of lately.

I struggle with this when deciding who I want to date. Personally, I don't want to go on a date before I know someone.

Great podcast! The part about not dating in a silo and having mentorship from a Godly couple who can relate well to what you're going through is key! Also having someone who would still choose you even after conflict..that's it!
