Akaza hates weakness because the weak cannot protect others. Rengoku believes the strong should protect the weak. Their ideas seem similar, but are fundamentally different

akaza's backstory is definitely the best backstory in DS so far. Like I watched this movie in theatres and I was just holding back the tears bro. ABSOLUTELY PEAK MOVIE

I don't get why nobody undersands why Tanjiro revealed himself behind Akaza....

Tanjiro unlocked the "selfless state." By eliminating his fighting spirit, he is effectively in an ultra instinct-type state. He has no fighting spirit, no bloodlust, no rage, no animosity, etc.

If he were to sneak up on Akaza with the intent to kill him from behind, that'd just put his fighting spirit back on Akaza's radar and ruin everything.

Tanjiro casually walking up to slice Akaza saving Giyu has come full circle to when Giyu walked up to Rui.

shout out to the ufotable team because in the manga Akaza's backstory was no where near this fleshed out. the studio betted on Akaza's story, risked both time and money and i love them for it.
