What it's sad about Kanzaburo, Giyu's crow, in my opinion in that scene and none talks about it much, is that he's and elderly crow and he gets confused quite a lot concerning the missions and directions he gives to Giyu. In one little extra scene (at the end of chapters) at least in the manga, we can see some hashira (Giyu is there) make wishes during a holiday ( I think new year, I'm probably wrong it's been a while since I read the manga) and Giyu wishes that his crow Kanzaburo lives more years.
So he sitting there, begging Giyu not to die is so sad to me :')

An almost perfect example of what could be a good trait, like being strong and wanting to protect de loved ones, can turn one a wrong person under certain circumstances. A truly amazing character Akaza!

Kagaya Ubuyashiki (the former Master) has 5 kids (quintuplet) 4 daughters & 1 son. Actually he already appeared in Season 1 Ep 4. Its just that he was raised as a female. He just returned as a male when he takes over as the new master of the corps.

Fun fact: in Japan, different types and effects of fireworks have their own names—sometimes incredibly elaborate ones. For example, Nobori Kyokudō-tsuki Gojūshin Henka-giku roughly means “Ascending Curved-Trail Fivefold-Core Color-Changing Chrysanthemum.”

You know what else has similarly extravagant, firework-like names? Destructive Death , Akaza’s Blood Demon Art. Some examples are Hiyūsei Senrin — “Flying Planet, Thousand Wheels”; Manyō Senyanagi — “Ten Thousand Leaves, Flashing Willow”; and Aogin Ranzankō — “Blue-Silver Chaotic Afterglow.”

Akaza may have forgotten Koyuki, but some part of him never forgot his promise to take her to see the fireworks.

P.S. Sorry for making you cry.
