I love how Glee brought so much diversity and tackled so many issues, but did almost none of them right lmao.

The fact that the cast was so diverse and could've been used to diversify glee more, yet Ryan Murphy picked the straight cis gender white guy, to give him the role of a lesser version of Finn

Ironic how Ryan Murphy literally wrote Constance from AHS with a backstory about rejecting how the film industry wants to sexualize women, but then forced a teenager to act sexy in order to earn her spot in his television show...

Maybe it's for the best that Aylin didn't win, can you imagine the offensive storylines the writers would have put her in

the fact that Blake is always praised for his acting but he always seems to be playing an angry man 😬😬

Are we not gonna talk about how they were praised for having a diverse set of competitors, but in the end they still chose the conventionally attractive, white male?

Losing the glee project was the best thing that could’ve happened to Ali. She’s better on Broadway

i never watched the glee project but going off of the recap, im genuinely disgusted at how consistent the sexualization of nellie seems to be. especially since she appears to have explicitly stated her discomfort with it. not cool

Who else wants to bet that Abraham  was encouraged by producers to go back in front of the judges and declare that he wasn't gonna leave?

I don't understand Ryan Murphy's obsession with sexualizing the contestants, especially the girls. Like aren't they playing teenagers? Why do you need them to be sexy?

Nellie deadass expressed how uncomfortable she is with acting sexually. Yet, the producers still forced her to things she didn’t want to. THEN, Ryan Murphy goes on to have a story line in glee season 5 which is identical to Nellie’s with Marley. He paints Marley as stubborn and unreasonable.

I’m uncomfortable with how they tried to force Nellie to be sexy like every week?
