It's really cool how you called Lindsey the real life Rachel Berry and then she went on to play Rachel's dream role on Broadway. Truly the real life Rachel Berry

lindsay heather pearce, who was a runner up on the first season, just finished her run as elphaba in wicked on broadway and has just joined the national tour of mean girls as janis. so happy her career grew so much bigger than this show

ryan murphy being keen to write a religious character because he "never has before" when i had to endure quinn fabray and mercedes jones giving kurt a hard time for being non-religious and kurt to be portrayed as IN THE WRONG for this for a whole episode. i can't deal with this

If Lindsay had won, they could have wrote her in as an exchange student that everyone thought was coming from India. Then this girl shows up and is like "I'm from Indiana". That would have been very on brand for Glee.

I remember when YouTube’s very own Jon Cozart tried to get a spot on glee project. I never understood why some other contestants made it and he didn’t.

the only memory I have from the Glee Project is when Damien performs Jesse's Girl but sings "I wish that I was Jesse's girl" instead of "I wish that I HAD jesse's girl" ....

maybe if the glee project actually helped these contestants become singers/actors/dancers it would have had more of an impact.

I LITERALLY cried when Cameron Mitchell was eliminated. So you could say The Glee Project had a chokehold on my heart.

There's a TON of behind-the-scenes stuff that I am shocked you didn't mention. Lindsey in particular- she has said many times that the edit painted her to be much worse than she is, and actually her "fake" card in vulnerability was due to a personal story she shared about being SA'd in the industry and having to pretend like it didn't affect her. I get frustrated seeing people still talk about Lindsey without mentioning this because her edit on the show affected her a lot after the show, she got so much hate, and it doesn't seem like she speaks too kindly on the show.
Also, Shanna is actually a lesbian and no longer goes by Shanna (I forgot the name they switched to).
There was a tell-all article recently with a lot of background info that I would recommend!
