I've been a heavy drinker for over 10 years, knowing damn well I was slowly killing myself. This version of this song gave me the courage to finally put the bottle down. 36 days sober today. Thank you.

Came from &quot;Heart of the Beast &quot;<br>This song feels like a warm hug after a massive storm. Emotional, peaceful, and totally blissful all at the same time.

When this song played at the end of Heart of the Beast, I immediately grabbed my phone and Shazamed it. This is the best cover of “Stand by Me” I’ve ever heard.

When a guy shows up wearing an Our Lady of Guadalupe hat and a Mr Roger&apos;s sweater you know some good shit&apos;s going down ❤

I can see Chris Cornell in heaven saying “that’s how you cover a song”

I’m a full time musician - sitting in my car here in Austin Texas. I am crying so hard, something about this touched my past, it went back and brought back memories of my childhood… I can’t stop crying and has inspired me to cover this again, it’s been years..thank you ❤️

It’s criminally painful how good he makes that guitar sound
