I prepped this last night and made it for my son for lunch today.  I'm pretty good at picking out tasty recipes but this one was FIRE!  Grant loved it.  Said it was better than our favorite Chinese take-out.  He made me send some home for his girlfriend.  The chicken was light and crispy and held up to the sauce well.  The only thing I wish I had done differently was to have all the chicken dredged and battered BEFORE I started frying.  Doing it a couple of pieces at a time was arduous.  But that was my issue not the recipe's.  Thank you Chef Jet!  It was delicious.

I worked with Jet Tilla for an event at my hotel years ago.. I was the executive chef at the hotel.. Many upcoming chefs were there.. but Jet was the best for sure!  He was the most organized and nice chef to work with.  Chef to chef.. I respect him, and love his recipes..

This is the ONLY good show on the Food Network, no showing off, no bland overrated chefs that don't know what they're doing.  Pure food passion.

He’s an incredible teacher. It’s not just knowing the recipe but being informed about all the details in between. Tile, slice, etc… 🔥

That’s what I do for my general tsos sauce too but I’m missing the oyster sauce. I absolutely love watching you cook because you’re not just cooking, you’re teaching us about why you’re using each ingredient.

Thank you for sharing the authentic recipes as well as those developed to please Americans taste ! But as you’ve said before, we’ve learned to appreciate these dishes too! I agree with you about the onions ! We use it all in gumbo’s and I never understood not using the white parts too! The spider utensils are so necessary for frying! You show the way to use all utensils to pots and pans! TY chef for educating us free and caring about all learning

I literally just made this. This is was absolutely delicious. I personally added a few drops of toasted sesame oil for personal taste. But it was perfect without. Thank you!
