  Hahahaha “junk mail from the spa”…I used to work in the spa on cruise ships. The only thing more annoying than receiving those junk mail is delivering them from cabin to cabin. 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

  There is a great story from an American soldier that defines how much the Brits love their tea. &nbsp;On D day on the Normandy invasion, these 2 Americans and 2 Brits survived the assault to the shore. &nbsp;The water was full of blood since most soldiers did not make it. &nbsp;It was a miracle to be alive and on the shore. &nbsp;The next step was to climb the cliff. &nbsp;The Americans get ready when suddenly they see the 2 Brits sitting down on the shore building a fire. &nbsp;The Americans say &quot;what the hell are you guys doing&apos;? &nbsp;The Brits say &quot;we&apos;re having a cup of tea&quot; &nbsp;The Americans said there is not time for a cup of tea, lets go. &nbsp;The American said these British guys were the most fearless soldiers he ever saw and they wanted to celebrate their survival with a cup of tea.

  I have my Great grandmother’s diary from her transatlantic crossing when she emigrated to Canada from Yorkshire in the 1930’s. It was such an interesting read. Pre WW1 my Great uncles were stewards on the White line. Unfortunately they were both killed in WW1.

  I&apos;ve done 2 transatlantic cruises, both were on Royal Caribbean ships entering the US for the first time. Went with my dad both times. I was in my late 30s, he was close to 70. Enjoyed the pace very much. I was one of the younger cruisers and it was fun taking older style dance classes and doing trivia. I loved the slower pace. My dad read a LOT. (He always read a LOT.) He&apos;s gone now. I wouldn&apos;t do this cruise now.
