  This show is a big part of my childhood easily the best tv detective ever. And we will never see on  like him again

  Peter Falk as Columbo was an Icon and still is.  I do not care who started Columbo, only one actor nailed it.  Owned it and will always be Columbo.  Peter Falk I still watch you now.  Rest in peace, you will never be beaten.

  In my 60+ years I have met all sorts of people from all over the world -<br>not once did I hear someone say that Columbo sucks.

  Robert Culp and John Cassavetes. &nbsp;Peter Faulk and John Cassavetes were very good friends and both actors were quirky and tended to improvise. &nbsp;I loved Columbo back in the &apos;70&apos;s and on never missing an episode.

  Could be the fact that most of us grew up watching 60&apos;s-70&apos;s tv series, but most of these shows were compelling back then, because they were a different breed of writers back then.

  My mom watched every detective or PI show ever made and my favorite was Columbo! &nbsp;I loved his quirky behavior and how he was always underestimated by criminals who thought they were smarter than him. &nbsp;I loved how he’d outsmart them!

  Peter Falk was one of the best actors ever. Columbo, Murder by Death, The Cheap Detective are some of my favorite Movies ever.

  I love watching Columbo. Back in my youth, we only had a small, black and white TV. Now I get to see the beautiful costumes, room designs and scenery. I wonder how much more crowded the residential areas are now.
