Nice. I remember using the short loop method for chromatics. Recently, when I just don't want to mess with Newtone for deeper chromatics, I've been using Chromatic Scale Generator Plus and it helps a lot. Thank you NotAsBadFnfCovers

This is such a peak tutorial man

(I’m honestly thinking of making a chromatic with this method but)

on the chromatic scale generator I can’t set it up since there’s an error about a DLL problem and I’m kinda confused of how to run it

(if you can help or maybe make a possible tutorial, since i’ve looked online and there’s no tutorials that would be awesome!)

Actually quite an easy to understand tutorial for chromatics! Just one question, does the process change in any way if I were to record my voice instead of use a sample?

If you have access to melodyne ; Id suggest finding a clean vowel sample , stretching it out , centering it , removing pitch modulation ( think that's the term ) and adjusting all samples volumes to be the same . Then , what I found is melodyne tends to make the samples sound too robotic when actually lining the samples up for a chromatic , so , then use newtone to do that part , but then rather than just exporting like that ; take the time to manually adjust the format to each sample (still within newtone ) and clip the first half a second or so to some of the samples if they do the weird "audio rising" thing . I've found "chromatic generators" to be sorta ehh in the past + being able to adjust the formatting manually for the samples allows better control for if a characters voice becomes more head or chest dominant depending on the pitch . Major example being a character like Goku or Krillin who I'd say's voices change radically the higher notes they hit .
