18 divided by 2 = 9. Then 9x3 = 27. 20-27 = - 7. Then -7 x 6 = -42.

Iso rules require writing this like: 6*(20 - (18÷2)*3) = -42.

The problem with "PEMDAS" for some people is that they think it means Multiplication comes before Division.
