  I live just east of LBL, kentucky side. I suggest you look into the insane amounts of bodies that have been found in the LBL area, particularly the kentucky side, though. There&apos;s definitely something disturbing going on out here. I&apos;ve spent half of my 27 years in these woods and waters, I&apos;ve heard and seen some really creepy shit myself. Me and a friend both heard a metalic clanking noise out there one night. We stayed in our tents the rest of that night. We were bow hunting. Early the next morning, still totally dark, with our flashlights shining ahead, we BOTH saw a translucent figure floating up from the ground into the tree line. It was a blob of blurriness. Sudden feelings of absolute dread, and a strong smell of..iron? Or blood? But at the same time it didn&apos;t smell like it.. I guess? Super hard to explain. It was about 40-50(?) feet away. Almost like it didn&apos;t mean to come up when it did, or it was moving out of our walking path. It floated up, we both stopped and watched it. When it got halfway up the treeline, it stopped and kind of contorted a little bit, like it &quot;saw&quot; us. That&apos;s when the intense dread came. It stayed there for a second or 2 then just floated up and away through the treeline, disappearing into the dark sky. Needless to say we went straight back to camp and packed up. I didn&apos;t hunt out there for a couple years after that. I still always find myself looking over my shoulder when I&apos;m hiking or hunting out there..

  I was just watching this episode and saw where you mentioned Montgomery Bell. I was living in that area in 1979, and I&apos;m 58 now. I was home alone one night. Our driveway was about a mile back up a hollow. I was waiting for my parents to get home from the grocery store. &nbsp;The dogs started barking, which they never did unless someone was there or something was in the chickens. &nbsp;I looked out and didn&apos;t see anything, so I went out to see what was happening. &nbsp;The dogs were looking down the drive and jumping very aggressively. &nbsp;The moon was bright, and there were no other lights. Next to the farm was 1000s of acres of wood&apos;s. I &nbsp;was in the 8th grade, with no alcohol or drugs. I watched this solid white up right walking on 2 legs about 61/2 to 7 foot tall looking like it had a dog head. It walked out from behind the smokehouse into the moon light with its nose up in the air. It was about a football field away. It turned to look at me. I ran back inside and got the 30-30 and went to the basement. &nbsp;That was the only time I saw it but heard of others seeing it.

  I used to deliver newspapers in a place called Prattsville, Arkansas. I discovered first hand that Prattsville is home to a small gargoyle like creature. It stands around three feet tall with physical characteristics of the standard gargoyle, bat-like wings and bright red eyes. The night I saw it, it simply stood by the road and watched me drive by, I quickly reversed to get another look at it, but it was gone. Later I asked a friend who lived in the area about it, and pulled a picture out of his wallet of the gargoyle with its wings spread walking across the parking lot the the church he attends.

  I was in LBL once — heard a scream / growl that was so loud it went through your soul. Was with a boyfriend at the time- we both were terrified and left immediately….

  My great uncle was a game warden in Indiana. &nbsp;I can tell you he cautioned us to stay out of remote areas and woods. &nbsp;He couldn’t or wouldn’t tell us why? &nbsp; He just told us there was great danger. &nbsp;I am sure there were things he saw and helped hide. &nbsp;I remember times he seemed very strange to me. &nbsp;I moved to Washington State 23 yrs ago. &nbsp;In 2005 had encounter with an aggressive Sasquatch. &nbsp;Near Mt St Helen. &nbsp;He insisted we leave.

  This is my first account of experiencing anything creepy while in the woods. <br>I live in Tennessee and I was at one of the parks near Percy Priest Lake. This was years before I ever started watching videos on YouTube about these things. <br>I would visit this particular park often and walk the trails with my dog. One day I was out walking the dog and about 5 minutes deep into the wooded trail I got this very eerie sensation and kept looking at my dog to see if it was just in my head. Normally she just trots along the trail, happy to be there. I kept having this bad feeling and she stopped in her tracks and was just staring into the woods. I knew I had to get out of there immediately. I have chills now thinking about it. I never saw anything, but this overwhelming sense that I needed to leave immediately. I walked out of the trail as calmly &amp; quickly as I could back to my car and left.

  I can attest to the fact that an animal can &quot;disappear&quot; just by being still. I was looking right at a deer moving in a small patch of woods, it stopped moving and even though I knew I was looking right at it, I couldn&apos;t see/recognize it as a deer anymore. The deer totally blended in with the trees and shadows. I &quot;saw&quot; it again when it moved.

  Arizona resident here: HOLY SHIT I literally live 20 minutes away from the Superstition Mountains ! I always heard of people going missing without a trace here but I thought it was the desert itself now I’m kinda not surprised to hear of these creatures &amp; shapeshifters as this is ancient Apache land. Native homies would always be like “don’t whistle in the desert after sunset” and I never understood what they meant now I do

  I had a teacher in high school (retired history professor from some university making some extra money) who would do a &nbsp;spooky history lesson for the month of October and I remember him talking about the Bauman story and he said the same thing, he always believed it was Teddy himself who had experienced it but didn’t want to face ridicule for it, so he claimed it as someone else’s story.
