The modern thing that annoys me the most is how everything is a subscription service.

Correction: The government printed tons of money. Then they gave 90% of it to corporations. Corporations then used the windfall to buy all new price tags for their products.

We made our kids go to community college first (they hated it!), but now they are so grateful because they don’t have debt but all their friends do. Racking up debt for colleges or weddings is like shooting yourself in the foot before you even get out of the gate.

People should have mass canceled their netflix subscriptions the first time an ad popped up. Paying 8 dollars to still watch ads is insane. Now it's standart for all streamings

Shopping at WalMart - not easy to avoid when it is the only grocer within a 120 mile diameter.

Absolutely, what you said about airlines is 100% right. I use a wheelchair for mobility, so connecting flights are just too risky. Every transfer between planes is another chance for equipment to get lost, broken, or “mysteriously misplaced.”

On top of that, I have to wait for the entire plane to deboard before they bring the aisle chair, transfer me, and push me out. It’s a whole production. Doing that once is enough. Doing it multiple times in a single trip sounds like a special kind of punishment.

I’ll gladly pay the extra $120 every time to avoid that.

Also, in my experience, Delta Air Lines is still one of the best options for direct flights, especially out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

It blows MY mind that the majority of the population buys phones that don’t fit completely concealed in your jean pocket!!!

I’ll clutch my iPhone 12 mini until it no longer works and I’m forced to buy a flip phone. NOT. GOING. BIGGER.

I told you about Walmart years ago. Most people refuse to believe, even when the truth is staring them in the eyes. They used to say, the produce was great at Walmart, because it was getting rotated quickly due to the demand. But to be honest, produce is starting to suck everywhere. It's not all that great at Kroger either.
