I was born in 89. I’ll never forget when dad brought me to my first ever game at the old Yankee stadium in 1999. He used to drive us kids down to Shea Stadium as well. Great memories that I will never forget.

I saw a lot of games at Comiskey Park when I lived in Chicago. The most humorous feature, IMO, was in the men's restrooms which did not have individual urinals, just 2 troughs. One was a standard height for men but there was a shorter one that had a sign above: "FOR FUTURE SOX PLAYERS ONLY."
Old Comiskey was time worn but it had character, and one could imagine the greats who played on that field during those years, sad that it's only a memory now.

You forgot Candlestick Park in San Francisco, home of the San Francisco Giants baseball team and the San Francisco 49ers NFL team. The Giants moved out after the 1999 season the move into what is now called Oracle Park, while the 49ers moved to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara a few years later. That stadium was demolished a few years later. I can’t believe you missed that.

The fireworks in the Kingdome at 11:53 were a nightmare. They caused delays due to all the smoke they made. Because it was inside the dome the smoke wouldn't disapate and the players and fans couldn't see anything.

Both former homes of the Giants, The Polo Grounds in NY and Candlestick Park in San Francisco, not mentioned. Also not Municipal Stadium in Cleveland ("the Mistake on the Lake"), though a new stadium was built, which itself is slated for replacement after only about 25 years, Crosley Field before Riverfront in Cincy, Braves Field in Boston, Baker Bowl in Philly, Memorial Stadium in Baltimore, Griffith Stadium in Washington, Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, Colts (Houston) Stadium (it WAS temporary while the Astrodome was being built), the Astrodome itself (still standing, but no longer slated for use as a sports venue), Arlington (Turnpike) Stadium, Municipal Stadium (Kansas City), Milwaukee's County Stadium, Mile High Stadium, Jack Murphy (later SDECU) Stadium, Wrigley (LA) Field, Toronto's Exhibition Stadium, Parc Jarry in Montreal, and, finally, the venue for that one-year MLB disaster, Sick's stadium (turned out to be an appropriate moniker) for the Seattle Pilots.

I spent a lot of time at Shea Stadium over the years, from child days in the 1970's until it was torn down. While it was sad to see it go, it's time had come. Citi Field is a wonderful ballpark. I also saw games at all 3 iterations of Yankee Stadium, the original, the renovated, and the new one.

Why no Memorial Stadium in Baltimore? That is one of my all time favorites!!

D.C. Stadium's first pro sports tenant were the Washington Redskins in fall of 1961. And since they still had a football program at that time, it was also home for the George Washington University Colonials after leaving Griffith Stadium. The expansion Washington Senators began play at D.C. Stadium in 1962 after one season at Griffith. They left DC after the 1971 season and of course are now the Texas Rangers. In between, various soccer teams called DC Stadium/RFK home. The Washington Whips, Washington Diplomats, Team America, & DC United. After leaving Montreal, the Expos (now the Nationals) called DC Stadium home for 3? seasons ('05, '06 & '07). Two MLB All-Star games were held at DC Stadium/RFK in 1962 & '69. After the Senators left for Texas, several MLB exhibition games were played there in an effort to bring baseball back to DC, including the Cracker Jack old timers games in the early '80s. And of course the many concerts & early on the DC high school city title football games on Thanksgiving Day. Not to overlook Billy Graham crusades held here also.
