Today on TFC Stadiums, we’re looking at abandoned MLB stadiums and the ballparks baseball left behind. Which former MLB stadium do you think had the saddest ending?

I have walked on the field in the Astrodome back in the early 80's. That field was basically concrete with a very thin astroturf. I would have been like playing in the street with a rug over it.

Turn the Astro dome into a museum or a shopping mall and if you’re really ambitious a hotel/condos

I hope they don't tear down Kauffman Stadium as a reminder of the amazing stadium we were stupid enough to replace.

Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, MN should be on the list, which sat empty for three years after the Twins and the Vikings left in 1981.

RFK right before Olympic Stadium is cold blooded to the Expos fans. I’m a lifelong Braves fan and will absolutely admit that the 94 Expos team was better and would’ve at least been a World Series contender.

I was in the Army at the time and stationed in Virginia and went to several Nationals games in 2005

Being from the Houston area, I loved the Astrodome, but I think it needs to go. It’s in really bad shape, and it would be far too expensive for taxpayers to restore.
