I've been totally in the dark regarding understanding capacitors. Never had anyone explain this like you have. Great analogies! Thank you SO MUCH for your explanations - you've helped me understand some mysteries of a lifetime, and made it absolutely clear and simple. Kudos to you!

Truly a beautiful presentation. This is how I've always visualized/ understood capacitance, and it's wonderful and gratifying to see it elucidated and explained this way.

This is amazing. I never really understood why capacitors behave the way they do, let alone the phasing. Every instructor I tried to learn from bombarded me with math without actually explaining the phenomenon first. Bob's air tank analogy made me instantly and intuitively understand everything, even the latency (phasing) between voltage and current. Thank you, sir!
