This is brilliant, and I'm grateful that you made this connection. I just spent several months studying audio production, and this is one of the techniques that we learned about creating a successful audio mix - letting each instrument live and be heard by adjusting its frequency within the mix (using Pro Tools - or another digital audio workstation - or a mixing board). As soon as you began speaking about singing with a certain frequency, I had that "aha!" moment! Thank you for all you do. I recommend you to all my students.
