How amazing is it that more than 18 years after his leaving this dimension, a new video of him reaches thousands of views within less than 24 hours?.. To say that the man left a mark is an understatement. He continues to be loved and missed by many AND to be the great ambassador for opera that he always was... He so deserves all the flowers..

Just imagine having Pavarotti, the meastro himself as your student. How proud wouldn’t you be?

The way Pavarotti paid tribute to his master is telling.<br>He was a man at the top of the world, and recognised that he had been carried there by giants

When I look at Pavarotti singing in concerts, recitals and even in opera theatres his body is hardily moving, his arms and head are still and his eyes are strongly focused. The only thing that I see moving is his mouth and his tongue. His concentration and self-awareness with regard to singing are astonishing! It was all about music, about producing the most perfect and beautiful sound!

I know next to nothing about opera, but I have heard about Pavarotti since childhood. I notice his absolute mastery of singing, the depth of his knowledge. And decent English too! Amazing video.

This is beautiful and he’s being interviewed by Melvyn Bragg who is from my home county …the most humble and “deprived” for many decades if not centuries in the UK! Two beautiful humans
