That is why all the lakes are drying up. The crooks are doing all these real-estate deals when the environment can't handle it. Concrete takes a lot of water.

71 years ago my mother took us three boys on a train trip from Oregon through the Southwest. I still remember parts of it even though mom told me I was only two. Now I know where the petrified wood that was in her rock garden came from.😁

The Phoenix water supply is reclaimed water. Its sludge when it reaches the treatment plant....a handful of filters and chemical treatment and you are showering in what has been reclaimed....from the sludge.

Did you forget the Battle of Picacho Pass (also called the Battle of Picacho Peak) in 1862?

California is still getting most of the water from our Hoover dam on the Colorado River and the newest “deal” from last year is scheduled to give AZ even less this year.

 CATASTROPHE AWAITS.
Solutions.
1. Halt and reverse migration until s sustainable population is achieved in the affected region.
2. Forbid the construction of Data Centers anywhere in Arizona. Data Centers would compete for the same water and electrical power that millions of humans rely on for survival.
3. Increase planting of vegetation native to desert biomes, especially trees, to increase shade and reduce heat.
4. Begin modifying publicly-owned structures, such as schools, to incorporate passive and hybrid cooling technologies. Why? Current Cooling Centers are overly reliant on legacy air conditioning that require electrical power to function. In the event of an extended power outage, they'll become useless or simply casualty collection points.
5. Increase natural acquifier replenishment.
6. Find and develop more natural water resources within Arizona.

Yall have No Friggin idea how many power plants are out there. At least 12. I have serviced a few. They have drilled holes down some thousands of feet and into a salt layer. That should be around 10-12,000 foot well. We took brine water that they used for cooling to be disposed of at a recovery site in phx.

By the way most of these facts are made to scare people. They don’t talk about how the city does not really rely on Colorado river !! 90% of the state population and households does not rely on Colorado river
