  I would imagine the M-II had much greater strength amplification than the M-IV onwards, and that&apos;s why it required tethering to a large power source, Dr Halsey probably realised, after a bit of testing M-II, that her Spartans didn&apos;t actually need to be able to fling tanks into low orbit to be combat effective, so she scaled back the power amplification to a more reasonable level, which consequently made a sufficiently compact power source easier to make.

  its insane to think how powerful even a basic sangheili soldier was, Spartans out of suit would struggle to compete with one. They&apos;re THAT huge and THAT fast as well. Scary as hell
