Spartan-IV Augmentations

Note that in Halo Infinite, the Spartan IVs on the ring's surface were fighting for six months with zero (known--none of them mentioned anything about wayward augments in the logs) augmentation issues. Either it proves the augmentations' stability, or the checkups were being used as an invisible leash to keep the IVs in hand.

Could it be possible that Spartan IVs are so maintenance heavy (medical scans, etc) not because they need it, but as a way to keep them under control? After all, ONI seems pretty worried about the possibility of rogue Spartans- making the IVs think they need all those resources would be a good way to keep them loyal.

Am I the only person who after hearing this at 25:33 thought...

- "All remaining nutrients are now ready for remote activation."

- "Remote activation? The Spartan IIs are undoubtedly awesome I'll always have a soft spot for the spartan IIIs, unlike the 2s and 4s the 3s were made to be expendable, performing some of the most dangerous and consequently most critical missions without the technological advantages of the other classes. Thrown in handfuls at the breach in the hopes that they could slow down the March of the covenant. They are the unsung heroes of the human covenant war in my opinion and we will never know most of their names or the sacrifices they made to give humanity a chance to stumble to its feet and fight back

On the day that everyone becomes a Spartan is the day when UNSC starts looking for ways to make Olympians, nd on the day everyone becomes an Olympian is the day the UNSC starts making Titans, and then from Titans to Primordials (no, not like that one).
Spartans shouldn't humanity's end point. They should be the springboard to something even stronger.

People who get hung up on the S-IVs' shortcomings relative to past generations are missing the point: S-IVs are logistically easier to work with, can be fielded in much greater numbers while still remaining very formidable at the individual and the squad level, and they may well form the basis for vastly superior future generations who might be far more comparable to their direct predecessors. Barring some mistakes made in psychologically profiling and security-screening certain S-IVs, I view Project ORCHID as a huge step forward, and a promising look into the future of the UNSC armed forces and eventually, perhaps even humanity's physical evolution.

I can see the meta stability of the S4's augmentations being an intentional bug on behalf of ONI to ensure that spartan deserters don't become a thorn in the UNSC by limiting their operational utility outside of the UNSC without their support.

    #Installation00

I think the limited nature of Spartan IV - their regular need for medical examination and far more care than previous Spartans - was a deliberate move by ONI.

They learned from their experiences with Daisy, Soren 066 and ILSA Zane.

They wanted supersoldiers on leash, not Supersoldiers who might follow their conscience and try to fight ONI.

What do you think??

And this is meant to be the "more humane" version of making a Spartan.
