  The covenant couldn't actually do in atmo jumps until Cortana with direct access to a functioning covenant drive figured it out for herself and a covenant AI stole the math from her. This is from the Novel First Strike taking place in between CE and 2.

  I’m writing my own original sci-fi setting and the Halo Human ships are the key influence in my ‘Gun-type’ Ship model, as well as the primary chasis of the tritarmirine models. Fantastic design

  You missed out on the Pillar of Autumn earlier service history as well. It was featured in Halo Wars. It faught over Arcadia vs a much larger Cov. Destroyer and survived.

  The thing i like about Halo universe, is how the UNSC vehicles are all named after animals and the Covenant vehicles are all named after paranormal things lol

  To be fair to the Covenant with the CSO-class Supercarrier, the design was proven to work in destroying whatever the Covenant wanted. Kinda like how the Star Destroyer&apos;s design was so powerful that it was copied a million times over for different ship-types, the CSO just used the CAS design because it worked. It was powerful enough that a single blast from it&apos;s glassing laser snapped the Frigate Grafton into pieces, and I honestly believe that the CSO on it&apos;s own could glass an entire planet relatively quickly. It may not have been a frontline combat ship, but it definitely fits the exact same role as modern armed Aircraft Carriers.<br><br>The Punic-class Human ship was always one of my favorite designs. It really reminds me of the Bothan Assault Cruisers from Star Wars, at least the BAC designs from the Thrawn&apos;s Revenge mod for Star Wars: Empire at War.<br><br>I really wonder if Captain Keyes worked so well together with Cortana because of his relationship with Halsey previously, resulting in Miranda Keyes. I can imagine that Keyes working with a super hot, digital version of the woman he loved was probably why, honestly
