  Fun Fact: The reason why most of the locations ended up shutting down soon after was because they simply built up too much debt to the point that Gordon's changes, even when followed, couldn't help them pay it all off. The majority were inevitably doomed and hoped that Gordon could bring a heavy surge that would massively boost revenue.

The owner needed to choose a new meat vendor and said he decided to go with the one that had larger turkey legs because of me. That was the most seen I&apos;ve ever felt in my whole life.

  Apparently, some restaurants applied for a Kitchen Nightmares feature hoping to boost their value and get a better selling price for the venue, since a lot were just way beyond saving and tried to cut their losses.

  Yeah sadly the US version only picked the most drama filled places with the dumbest owners.<br><br>They never had a shot.<br><br>I mean, what the hell are you going to do with people that think you can run a fine dining restaurant by microwaving leftovers?

  My guy really went into a restaurant, ordered a meal he&apos;s never had and admitted he didn&apos;t like liver to begin with and then judged the restaurant from it. Why would he do that? lol

  Testing a restaurant by ordering something he never eats just cause gordan ordered it is a very unique way to do it. especially with liver which is very unique in terms of flavor and texture. he should have went with something he know and can judge.

This is because of how paella is supposed to be made: If it is too deep, then &nbsp;the ingredients cook all at different times because you cannot move the paella while it is cooking (which is why cooking it right is so hard, it is all about timing and intuition).

  I loved this concept. My only gripe is that he asked something he (admittedly) doesn&apos;t even like in the first restaurant and then... didn&apos;t try anything else – in the next spots he tried MULTIPLE banger dishes – that made no sense! Other than that, pretty cool
