  The question to ask any of these 2nd Law of Thermodynamics warriors is: If I measure atmospheric pressure at sea level at 1,013 hPa (~14.7 psi), then climb to the top of a 1,000m mountain and measure it again at 898 hPa (~13 psi), at what point along the way did I pass through the barrier that separates these different gas pressures and why was I able to pass through this barrier without noticing? Then, on my way back down, I decide to take a reading at 500m and find the pressure is 954.6 hPa, (13.8 psi). Should I now be looking for two barriers one between sea level and 500m and another between 500m and 1000m?  So, I take measurements every 10m along my decent and guess what?

  I’m a retired police officer. I don’t have a deep understanding of the vast majority of the arguments used to verify the shape of Earth. I do however possess ears,a television,a computer and a phone all of which provide literally millions of pieces of evidence that flat earthers are either unintelligent or dishonest. Evidence and people being dishonest are two things I am familiar with.

  Most of these debates aren't really debates. They're more speak very fast with scientific sounding language and as much word salad as can be wedged into the shortest amount of time whether truthful or not.
