  Gen AI/chatbots destroying vulnerable people&apos;s lives (or worse, pushing them on to do irreversible things) is something we all should have a SERIOUS discussion about. <br>And no Zuck, AI &quot;&quot;&quot;friends&quot;&quot;&quot; is the LAST thing hunanity needs.

  Pausing to comment: AI Chatbots have literally tried to help someone plan their suicide, and told mentally ill individuals to not take their meds or trust their drs. It&apos;s insane. They&apos;re a super bad influence on those who are most vulnerable.<br><br>EDIT: You may wanna put a bright/flashing colors warning on the mystery mine segment with the colorful tunnels. I thiiiink that&apos;s enough to trigger epilepsy.<br><br>EDIT 2: Its so cool to see Junkos view point through the first game. Also great to find out despite things working out, that she was an unreliable narrator the whole time. Wow.<br><br>EDIT 3: Part way through the Abyss chapter, and it&apos;s really interesting. For Shinji when we were in this area, we had to confront what was haunting us, and looking at it was the key. But it&apos;s the exact opposite for Junko. Very interesting implications for that.<br><br>LAST EDIT: Junko is such a sad character. Honestly, thou... I REALLY don&apos;t think she has OCD, she doesn&apos;t display symptoms of it. Compulsive lying isn&apos;t a symptom of OCD, at best it&apos;s a defense mechanism to anxiety. I personally think instead she has Borderline Personality Disorder. It&apos;s a disorder characterized by extreme moods, negative or altered sense of self and others, and impulsive actions with no thought for consequences. OCD has symptoms like what I do, where I was the same dish over and over until it causes physical pain.

  great job as always. this was so cool to watch you play. i&apos;m a nerd so i did homework and rewatched your other video and then play throughs/explains of their other two games before watching this. &nbsp;i am soooo interested in the bigger cross over lore with elysium, and why they are doing this to people. love a lore puzzle!<br><br>i&apos;m glad i watched everything else first, because there&apos;s such a great progression in their games where every part just gets better and better. you pointed out the graphics; such a visually beautiful and stunning game with so many creative unique locations. and like you said, they aren&apos;t there just to look pretty, they all play an important part in the story, and the sheer beauty of some of the landscapes works so well to be jarring as you see and learn these horrible things. <br><br>they did SUCH a good job using this game to add to and recontextualize don&apos;t watch, in a way that adds a whole new level to the first, and so much depth to this one. it actually helps me see how shinji&apos;s game fits more into the series and this shared world. i thought&quot;oh they are going in a different direction than the other two,&quot; and then they made us wait for this one to recontextualize it and show what was really happening, and how deeply connected don&apos;t look actually is. really clever! <br><br>they did such a god job showing the absolute horror of what junko has done, while still letting us understand her and feel empathy (without excusing it - i think playing as shinji first really helped with us to not lose sight of the pain she is causing others in an attempt to end her own). seeing how her father and mother treated her, it definitely feels like from an early age she was given the impressions that she as herself wasn&apos;t good enough, that she needed to be what others wanted her to be, and that the only way to get attention was to lie.<br><br>i saw multiple folks here talk about the dangers of ai, , and as was said, it has encouraged multiple self-unalivings, it has encouraged people to mass murder, recently almost started a war, all the things... the way mikichan responds is the way every day ai responds. they are not programmed to tell the truth or give facts (and even when it&apos;s trying to, studies show it pulls disproportionately from places like reddit, valuing anonymous opinions as much or even more than expert analysis leaving to a 30-80 percent error rate depending on what it is working on and of course just making stuff up), they are programmed to keep you engaged. ai is not actually intelligent: it can&apos;t think, it can&apos;t understand complex repercussions, it doesn&apos;t have judgment, it doesn&apos;t understand emotions. i would say i think it&apos;s important to recognize it&apos;s not just &quot;unstable&quot; or vulnerable people who are psychologically at risk with ai (not to mention the million other ways ai is damaging people and the planet) . i watched a video by a journalist who has studied the dangers of ai for years, written about it, learned how it works. he did an experiment of using ai to help him with a story, and he said that it was hard for him to stop at the end, because the chatbot was so flattering, so supportive, made him feel so good about himself. i remember he said something at the end like, &quot;this was me using it for a month going in knowing everything about it, and i was this affected - imagine what it is doing to countless people no matter who they are.&quot; just my AI PSA lol.<br><br>last random thought - elysium at this point reminds me of the murkoff corporation in outlast, and i wonder if these experiments are similarly motivated? knowing this series, there will probably be some bonkers explanation no one would ever guess...<br><br>thanks again - watching you play any game automatically makes it better!

  I&apos;m not an expert on Japanese culture, I&apos;m a good 20 years out from my anime deep-dives, but the moon, rabbits, and mochi (which dango are made out of) are all connected. What that means for the creepy guy at the door I couldn&apos;t begin to guess, but I will say that dango are delicious~ 🍡 And also I kinda like him. I&apos;d freak out if he was at my door but he&apos;s got a cool design and voice and is just spoopy enough to be interesting, imo.... And, hey, unlike Miki-chan, he gave good advice! Mostly.....<br><br>Man, I&apos;m capable of taking pills dry, but hearing Junko gulp them down like that sounded painful! 😬<br><br>Okay I know this was all dramatic and traumatic and I&apos;m not without empathy (I have too much, unlucky for me) but I had to laugh at Junko when she told Shinji to stab the eyes then kept looking through the hole and got stabbed in the eye - girl, what did you expect to happen?!<br><br>I actually think those blue forests looked better in Shinji&apos;s version, when they were pixelated, but I liked them either way. Far less creepy than inside the house! (In both games)<br><br>Shinji was a little cranky and rude (in his game) but I&apos;m really glad he undid the damage Junko tried to do to him - he earned his (hopefully) good ending. Well, you earned it for him lol 😆<br><br>I think it was sawdust the statues dissolved into? Maybe? It sounded more like pills, though.... Very lovely music in parts!<br><br>I feel a little bad for Junko... but she was pretty toxic toward those around her so I don&apos;t feel that bad.... Poor Hideo, though! He def didn&apos;t deserve what happened to him! <br><br>Thanks again for sharing! Especially since it made me revisit Shinji&apos;s version with new eyes (oh no, pun not intended!) <br><br>😊 You&apos;re dah best! ❤

  People have offed themselves because chatbots convinced them it was their only/best course of action. Chatbots are dangerous to people, to the environment, to the future.
