Seasonal Forest actually makes quite a bit of sense to replace Forest at high temperature, birch trees in real life like the cold! Birches are some of the only trees that grow in Greenland for example

This may be silly, but the rainforest biome is one of the biggest things I miss when playing newer versions. Growing up in Aotearoa New Zealand, it's the only time the world generation has felt similar to where I live (dense but relatively open-floored forests with lots of ferns, lush but still darker greens, dramatic changes in elevation thanks to beta terrain). I get a little emotional whenever I see one, the newer jungles just don't come close to capturing it

As realistic as modern minecraft seems to be heading, ironically the biome spread in old minecraft was some of the most realistic depiction of biome diversity in the game
