  Fun fact: I went to school with Doug Walker at NIU. I also knew him when he was a janitor at the car manufacturing facility. He was legit a super nice dude and extremely weird. Always thought he had some learning disability…until I heard about him again from being the Nostalgia Critic. lol

  It&apos;s weird that the short film Doug considered to be his worst and most pretentious project actually showcased some experimentation and creativity. Who knows what would have happened if he followed the instinct which produced that.

  I will always have a ton of respect for a man who broke out of corporate shackels and started an online venture, especially because when Doug did it the idea of making money online was pretty far fetched. <br><br>The fact that like 20 years later he still gets 6 figure views is very impressive as well. Most Youtubers from that time are gone, or &nbsp;getting a fraction of the views.

  In recent times, I’ve become SUPER nostalgic about Doug Walker’s early reviews. I remember starting to watch Nostalgia Critic when I stared high school around the middle of season 5 and just fell down the rabbit hole.
