gotta love when big companies cry foul when the free market works against them for once

The airlines' own greed created this perverse incentive. If they don't want people to creatively dance around the price gouging, then stop price gouging.

They’re not LOSING money. They’re just not making as much money as they thought people would be willing to pay.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tu8ZIbfLis&amp;t=129">2:09</a> I really like the “ChatGPT” says in FAQ part.<br>It’s saying “legally speaking, we did not tell you to do this, ChatGPT did, so go sue OpenAI if airlines want to”, while basically admitting “that’s what we would tell you if there are no legal repercussions”.

Under updated EU air passenger regulations, airlines can no longer automatically cancel your return flight or deny you boarding just because you missed or skipped your original outbound flight.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tu8ZIbfLis&amp;t=434">7:14</a> : the airline&apos;s analogy with switching tags at a department store is so stupid. It&apos;s more like, I need two bottles of beer; those cost $1.99 a piece, so $3.98 for two; but the six-pack in the same store costs $3.49; who&apos;s to forbid me from buying the six-pack for 3.49, and toss the 4 extra bottles?

“They can charge you the full fare price” but I paid the full fare price. I just didn’t use half of the included tickets, for whatever reason.

Oh no, a seat is empty on the onward flight THAT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR. How ever can airlines continue to exist when people are paying for things and not using them?

…so an industry that has made its money by treating its customers like absolute dirt and nickel and diming them every step of the way is getting screwed by a loophole. Oh no, my deepest sympathies.

Like switching price tags at a store? More like buying a set of shit you don&apos;t need to get one thing that you do.

It&apos;s like if a store sold a single shirt for $15, or a pair including an identical shirt for $10, then after you buy the pair they banned you from the store for not wearing the 2nd shirt. Skiplagging should be a legally protected right. If airlines don&apos;t like it, then they should change their price model

If you&apos;re going to price your flights in a way that encourages passengers to exploit your system, don&apos;t complain when passengers game your system. <br><br>&quot; You can&apos;t deal me the aces and think I wouldn&apos;t play.&quot; -Suzy Bogguss
