  Awesome job, but be aware that the minimum slope for shingles is 2/12. &nbsp;No roofing manufacturer will warrant their product on such a low slope.

  i was watching your video and up to this point my 5 year old had only been interested in paw patrol. then he sat beside me and watched the first video and requested to watch the rest to see you finish building the carport. you&apos;re doing something right, my man.

  Thank you for showing your mistake with the metal flashing. &nbsp;It&apos;s great to see that you are also human and make mistakes, like the rest of us and that&apos;s okay, too. &nbsp;We can all recover, no biggie, and move on with the job. &nbsp;People think that they can&apos;t do &quot;stuff&quot; unless they are perfect.

  Nice Job! &nbsp;I did something similar when I built a 12 x 12 lean to tractor shed. &nbsp;Used all pressure treated wood which was recycled from a decking project that I demolished. &nbsp;Total cost was less than $500. &nbsp;Thanks for posting the great video.

  Nice build, good looking carport. The underlay you chose is good underlayment but you really should of gone w/ peel &amp; stick for the low slope. Its the only underlayment that is bombproof on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PIjtazNUBY&amp;t=72">1:12</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PIjtazNUBY&amp;t=192">3:12</a>. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PIjtazNUBY&amp;t=252">4:12</a> and above is fine for 2 layers of synthetic. You should of used starter shingle on your eaves and rakes as well or at at least put a thick layer of tar down on your eaves/rakes to prevent uplift in high wind events. The duration shingle you chose is a good shingle. &nbsp;Best regards.

  That is a beautiful carport, and matches so well with the neighborhood aesthetic! &nbsp;It can be such a challenge to build something that stands out, but isn&apos;t out of place. &nbsp;Brilliant job!
