  I got a few criticisms for using AI so let me clarify a bit: I didn&apos;t want to use AI initially but I literally exhausted the google search (there&apos;s only 11 pages) and the majority of the headlines were either trans people getting assaulted, cis men assaulting women in the women&apos;s bathroom but the headlines use that as a jumping off point to justify banning trans people from bathrooms, and cis women being assaulted because people thought they were trans. So I had to use a paid version of ChatGPT (My dad&apos;s account not mine) to find the one legitimate case in the video. I probably could have eventually found that case myself, but frankly, I got sick of looking at assaults. <br><br>Other things to note: <br>There were a lot, and I mean a lot of cases where trans people get assaulted in the bathrooms. Hell a good chunk of them are trans women who straight up use the men&apos;s bathroom, like what the transphobes literally want, and they still got assaulted. Looking back I probably should have included the fact that trans people are way more likely to be assaulted when they use the bathroom of their sex assigned at birth, but again i got sick of looking at assault cases and if all my other arguments haven&apos;t convinced someone then I doubt this one would. Or I might not idk, it is a legitimate point against transphobia but the whole &quot;Transphobia is bad because some cis people could get hurt&quot; argument really rubs me the wrong way. So who knows tell me what you think and whether or not I should talk about that in the future

  I once talked to a very transphobic and homophobic person. I managed to prove and get her to say that her opinion has no logical reasons(like, she said: I don&apos;t have any logical reasons), but she continued being homophobic and transphobic after that. ... I sometimes feel that my attempts to educate people around are useless.

  the entire argument can just be debunked by the fact that you wouldn&apos;t spend months socially transitioning and potentially years medically transitioning just to go into a bathroom to assault someone... you&apos;d just... go into the bathroom

  I never understood this logic. How are you suppose to enforce the trans bathroom rule? I live in a state that imposes bathrooms on biological sex. I trans mtf pass quite well and never had an issue in the women’s locker room/ bathroom but have in the men’s(before switching to other restroom). How exactly are people suppose to enforce this? Also what do you do with trans men with years of HRT ? Make them use the women’s restroom?<br><br>EDIT : On people arguing “ if we allow self ID to occur, then men can all claim to be trans to enter women’s restroom”…. <br><br>Is a bathroom sign really supposed to stop someone from causing harm to women? Also with that logic can’t a cis man just go to the women’s restroom and say “ hey, I’m actually a biological woman so I have to come here”.

  I find it funny one of the only gas stations on the drive to town for me has paper taped to each respective bathroom saying &quot;No men allowed&quot; and &quot;No women allowed&quot; even got it in spanish for the &quot;No men allowed&quot; one. Best part is, they&apos;re one room, one stall bathrooms, so who tf could I molest if I went in the girls&apos; room? Myself???

  Wasn&apos;t there literally an incident last month where two trans men went into the women&apos;s bathroom (due to local law) and got cops called on them? I just love how big hairy trans men are somehow deemed safer than shy anxious trans women who just need to pee.

  The argument is funny (for how stupid it is, not bc of the situation itself) cuz like... Do they think a sign/social construct keeps women safe from horrible ppl in a bathroom? Like, they aren&apos;t gonna be like &quot;Oh wait, it&apos;s the women&apos;s bathroom, I physically can NOT enter it for some reason, aw man...&quot;

  I think it&apos;s very interesting how these transphobes (specifically transmisogynists) think literally every bio man is tall lmaooo. They never acknowledge the fact a lot of bio men are short (5&apos;6 and below). Not surprised these people cherry pick facts in order to prove their arguments.<br><br>Edit: There are short trans women and tall trans men. It&apos;s not impossible. We are a very wide group.

  Here is a particularly fun argument against the bathroom debate <br><br>Fuck how public bathrooms work in general<br><br>I went to a restaurant that had the sinks and bathroom stall entrances open outwards with no gender seperation, but all the stalls were basically giant blocks of wall with toilets inside<br><br>So let me ask<br><br>WHY IS THIS NOT HOW ALL BATHROOMS WORK????<br><br>MY SCHOOL DID THIS GENUINELY ITS NOT THAT HARD
