David Hasselhoff's Nick Fury is based on Comic Book counterpart, and Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury is based on Ultimate counterpart.

Ultimate Nick Fury and Miles Morales  were the best things to come out of the Ultimate Universe.

No mentions of the David Hasselhoff movie version? At least he eventually made it back into Marvel in one of the best ways.
