2:39 "we're treated to one of the earliest views of the complex in the series so far" would you say it's... The OLDEST view?

Kane did mentioned that there are two intelligences at work so maybe it's one of those that makes the lights change or do things

If it’s that cold while wearing a clunky, horrid, stuffy airtight suit imagine how cold it feels for those clipped in randomly, that’s rather scary

I lowkey think that zooming in on a random lamp serial number at the end of the "lighting and tile survey" video kind of hinted that all the lamps in the complex were the same copied and pasted lamp

The coldness of the Complex could relate to the longevity of the bacteria. Going into a sort of stasis like when researchers store petri dishes in fridges.

It makes sense that if the threshold is open to the air, which it is, that the room on the Standard side would be losing heat into it, and since the Compelx is pretty much infinite, this process would never stop

There's a concept in electromagnetism called blueshift and redshift, referring to the weakening and strengthening of wavelengths, respectively.

The most complex areas of The Complex (lol) are bathed in aggressive red light. Areas that, while still very confusing and nonsensical, are the most accurate renditions in The Complex. This might imply that the more stable an area of The Complex is, the closer it gets to a red light.

Blue light, then, would indicate a destabilization. But instances of stark blue light are very, very rare. Except, if the color isn't turning blue, but moving into blue from the yellow light typical in The Complex, then it would be green.

The blue light could also be a kind of blue shift doppler effect caused by passing faster through time and the wavelengths thus appearing to be squished.
Basically: The frequency is higher because time moves faster.

Kind of off topic for this video but I just want to point something out that i havent seen a single person mention in comments or videos that has been driving me crazy. If you did at some point and i missed it, sorry lol. If you go to the pitfalls video, in the pitfalls themselves theres clearly one in the middle that has a lip under the wall. Its the only one that isn't solid. It has an obvious shadow that makes it look more like a plank than the top of a wall. And you have to pay attention very carefully while hes moving across, because theres a cut, but you can see without a shadow of a doubt, that's the one that marvin was standing on when he fell. And its also in the other video with the pitfalls where they're building the bridge so its not a mistake. When i watched the gtlive for those, it drove me crazy that MatPat pauses the video like 90 times during those moments and doesnt see or mention it once lol.

30:10 the drop ceilings and insulation are simply just made out of the same materials, not anything paranormal. Real buildings use the same thing, using insulating drop tiles is just a good choice for better heat efficiency

found your channel today and watched a couple of your kane pixels' backrooms videos and it wasn't until now that i realized how little popularity you had, which i think goes to show how good your content is.
