The scene where she is arguing with teen girl at work, is Peter Frampton's daughter and they totally made that whole scene up on the spot. they were just told to sling insults..

Everyone but Melissa McCarthy was already pretty famous by this point, but this was really the role that made McCarthy a star (though she had been a main cast member on Gilmore Girls prior to this)
