  Well, John. For all of us listening and loving your videos, they are like a hug from you to us. Truly. I've been trying to find ways to make my home more cozy, since interior design isn't my talent, (though I could make you a killer gourmet dinner), I find myself hanging onto every word of your tutelage. I'm so 'interior challenged' that I've taken to uploading pics into ChatGPT to make suggestions. I feel like you've given me permission to make my home more 'me' and personal again instead of feeling like it has to be staged for resale. Thank you. I hope you do more videos like this but I love everything you share with us!

  It’s the architecture of the space that brings it together, the modern boxed rooms fall flat when adding interesting furnishings and items.<br>Those lovely architectural window, staircases, ceilings, pillars, mouldings are needed to bring all those other pieces together to really have that loving historical, loved and lived in feeling. &nbsp;The layer that is not talked about very often. Just my observation.

  One of the best compliments I&apos;ve received about my home was it feels like a hug. It never fails-people will fall asleep in my home when they come to visit. All of these tips I&apos;ve used somewhat unintentionally. These kinds of videos helps me to understand the &quot;why&quot; behind the techniques.

  Kathleen Kelly&apos;s apartment in You&apos;ve Got Mail is my all time favorite apartment in a film. &nbsp;The only thing I worry about in that movie is how she and Joe Fox are going to reconcile their decorating styles!

  🌱 I also am a little cheap with a black thumb, but love having fresh flowers and plants around. &nbsp;Here’s what I do - think of plants as cut flowers. &nbsp;If you go to the store, you can typically find a plant for about the same price as a bouquet of flowers and I guarantee it will last longer than flowers. &nbsp;Don’t think of plants as “I have to keep this alive for forever” but as, “this will look beautiful in my home for the season/holiday/event/whatever”.

  I&apos;m sure it&apos;s been suggested before, but if you and Nancy Meyers did a coffee table book together, between the beautiful designs aesthetics including reflections and the details that you share in your videos, I would be 1st in line to buy it! I can just see it with a linen cover offered in various shades used in her films.

  Please do a video on Cheaper by the Dozen! It’s a movie that I grew up watching all the time and now at 33 years old, I’m noticing so much about the interiors of their homes. They use a lot of reds and greens which reminds me of your video about Home Alone. You can also see the difference from before they move and are happier vs the new house and unhappy family. I even noticed how their oldest adult daughter’s apartment somewhat reflects their family home with the colors.<br>Thank you! Love your videos and knowledge.
