  You should google how a starter capitor works, often the problem is the capacitor doesn&apos;t get disconnected from the winding after the motor starts (only a couple seconds) A centrifugal switch will open the circuit when the RPM gets high enough and it&apos;s insided the motor so the new motor has &nbsp; a new one.<br>Or sometimes they are part of the control board and the current is monitored and a relay disconnects the starter capacitor.<br>Or it could be a current sensor that opens when it gets hot (PTCR).<br>It would be a good idea to google your air model # to see if there is recommended parts for the fan or capacitor when ordering for your model.
