  When my relative retired from the police force he was badly burnt out. He recoverd his peace of mind by his daily watching of Mayberry RFD/The Andy Griffith Show. He lost himself in that simpler kinder quieter time and recovered his sanity.<br>Yes TV can heal.❤

  One of my biggest regrets is that I never sent Don Knotts a letter telling him how wonderful I thought he was. His Barnie Fife was genius, and my siblings and I loved his movies: &quot;The Incredible Mr. Limpet&quot; and &quot;The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.&quot; It makes me so happy that he was recognized, multiple times by his peers, for his work on &quot;The Andy Griffith Show.&quot;

  Any episode with Ernest T Bass in it. He was truly the funniest characters on this show.

  That show would not have made it without Don Knott’s portrayal of Barney. &nbsp;Whenever we had a rookie who was sketchy we named him/her Barney Fife.

  It&apos;s one of those shows that will never go away. Running in syndication for decades and now in the era of streaming, The Andy Griffith Show has never stopped airing.

  As a phoenix firefighter for 30 years Andy and Barney were a must watch during lunch for almost my entire career! We all loved ol Barn !

  This show saves my sanity as I watch it with a loved one who doesn&apos;t remember much these days. We both laugh and feel safe and comfortable again. I can&apos;t even put into words how much it&apos;s helped over these heart-wrenching years.
