This really makes me sad because I feel like I’m only my true self for 1 1/2-2 weeks of the month

Some months I experience suicidal thoughts. I get panic attacks. The day my period starts, I start feeling better.

It's not something I would wish on anyone.

While many people dread getting their period, I can’t wait for it to make my emotions go back to normal. I legit feel like a monster the week before

Imagine trying to improve your life and being emotionally, physically, and mentally out of commission for 2-3 weeks every month. This is a disability. If you have PMDD and you're still here and still trying you should be very proud of yourself. That is a LOT to overcome and recover from every single month!

I’m watching this crying. I feel like a failure in every part of my life. For 2 weeks every month, I am a mess. I’m convinced my husband is cheating, and that I’m a horrible mother. This is unbearable.

I have this and it’s a living hell. Before my period, I get extreme panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, extreme rage and outbursts, lack of motivation, and a difficulty concentrating. It happens to me every single period. It’s awful.

This describes my wife quite well.

She is only "clear-headed for about 1.5 weeks of the month; for the other days of the month she is prone to depression, high irritability, onset weeping, and even distrust. I am, admittedly, a very patient and loving husband, and yet on occassion I feel like anything I say is taken in the most bad-faith way imaginable.

When she's clear-headed, she is remorseful of her other-self; we see eye to eye on basically everything, and peace and smiles come so effortlessly. And then, always sooner than expected, one day I awaken, greet her, and see that the change has returned. I rarely talk about how her PMDD affects with me her, but the truth is, it can be very difficult and sometimes lonely.

I love my wife very much. She did not ask for this.

The mood swings are so severe, I never knew I could feel such intense anger and then such sadness over the span of about 6 days before my periods. It’s awful!

I'm searching for videos about PMDD so I can feel less alone and avoid killing myself over how I'm temporarily feeling. I hate this.
