  When I was 13, I visited my father for the summer.  That summer I met the most fun, vivacious, energetic, and down to earth girl I’ve ever known at the time. We clicked instantly. Everyday we’d meet up to do something. Ride bikes, go swimming, walk to the store, walk the neighborhood or just enjoy the summertime. Then one day she tells me she’s moving to a different city with her mother. The day she moved I was crushed. I remember praying that night for her to come back just for one day. I just wanted to see her one more time. To my surprise the next morning I get a knock on the door and it was her. My eyes lit up like 4th of July fireworks. We hugged, I changed clothes then we went outside to hang. But it was only for a short time as her mother was just picking something up from the old house then heading back out. She just wanted to see me one last time. I never saw or heard about her again. That was 30 years ago.

  5 months sober. 2 years away from retirement from active duty. Leaving this here to remember my losses, my little wins, and everything in between. When someone likes this, I’ll come back and listen to this song.

  Met my first wife in uni in 1989. She was exactly like this girl. Free spirited and positive attitude to spare. 2 beautiful daughters ( now only one) we just grew apart. The memories of youth that lasts forever. Now happily married again with a young son. Came across this song as recommended by my daughter. Absolutely gave me the biggest goosebumps ever..sweet memories made all of us who we are today. Happy memories to you all. 😊😊😊

  James was very cold, lonely, no one cared about him, desperate, and hated life. But despite all these psychological complications, that girl never gave up on him. She was with him in the hardest times, even though he never returned her feelings. Through all of this, she stayed until he became a human being and recovered from all his psychological illnesses

  The dancing scene in this series is something I have done in real life with someone. Someone I loved. I was in the mental hospital, and he was playing music, and I just started dancing, and he danced with me, and for a minute time stood still for me, I forgot about where I even was.
