  Fell in love with a girl at 16, we were both raised wrong and had a hard time having a healthy relationship and ended up splitting up. I missed her every day for 23 years after. The one that got away, you know how it goes. Her dad got cancer and she found me to let me know, after all these decades of not knowing anything about each other. &nbsp;She confessed she has missed me every day since too. We have always truly loved each other through space and time somehow, and felt the same. Was always true love. I sent her this song when we reconnected, she is moving here, and we are getting married soon. And when she arrives, I wan&apos;t to slow dance to this song our first night together again, and I will probably cry my eyes out in bliss. Never give up hope.

  This song was playing in the bathroom while I was in the shower.. it was 2016 and I just finished my third round of chemo.. I was washing my hair and I looked down and saw hair in my hand.. that&apos;s when it became a reality that I had cancer... I &nbsp;broke down weeping in the shower...This song will forever hold a special memory for me. <br><br>BUT.... I am in remission now and have been for about 8 years now!!! Just thought I would share.
