Where are the BEST Locations to Build for EVERY Biome in Subnautica?

  Now you HAVE to make the same for Below Zero, if only to flex by building a base inside the Vent Garden. Practical? No. Stylish? HELL YES!

  I used to always put my bases on the border of the kelp forest and safe shallows for some reason. It always seemed like a good central location for me and the kelp side of it is deep enough for a cyclops and it’s safe. Great vid btw!

  I built my first base near a thermal vent bordering the safe shallows. When I got the thermal reactor for my PRAWN suit I would just chuck it into the thermal vent and let it charge lol

  Imo the best place in the lost river is right on top of the underwater waterfall that overlooks the Sea Dragon skeleton, dunno why but i always build a base there on my playthroughs, easy to access, plenty of resources, hardly any mobs at that part, those thermal vent things give thermal power, its just a great spot

  I can&apos;t believe you said to NOT build in the safe shallows. It&apos;s one of the best biomes to build in, especially if you&apos;re new. Although my one caveat is the fact that it&apos;s painfully far from any late-game biomes, but it&apos;s really nice to come back to a safe biome after a long excursion to the Lava Lakes, for example

  I always put my 2nd base. The base when I get to the point I no longer need my seamoth. Down at the giant ghost egg tree. There are 2 heat vent next to each other. 2-3 thermal generators is all you need to power everything. No maintenance, no enemies nearby, close to blood, lost river, and lava zone. Building a scanner room reacher lava entrance and lost river. I have all the tools I need. Grab a few plantable items such as creepvines seeds, acid mushrooms, and a bunch of table coral (there is some in the lost river) now you got a safe base forever. Bladder fish will be swimming around too

  The two best qualities of the crag field being ores and the ability to instantly leave the crag field will always be funny

  My very first playthrough I built my base in the Southernmost area of the northern Blood Kelp Zone where the biome dips into the Northwestern Mushroom Forest. There were no Crabsquids, Ghosties, or Ampeels most of the time, and only a warper gave me issues occasionally. <br>I got to reap the benefits of the Blood Kelp Zone&apos;s resources, and I also had easy access to things like Lithium from from the Mushroom Forest, and there was also the Grassy Plateaus and Kelp Forest to the south of it. Also the Lost River Entrance straight to the north.<br>Definitely one of the best locations in the biome to build a base.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XYIsIONGZU&amp;t=443">7:23</a> playing subnautica for the first time, and my first base I made in what I think is the grassy plateaus, a few hundred meters from sparse reef, near a kelp forest and like 300 meters from my lifepod. My second base I wanted to make in what I thought was what I now know as sparse reef, but before I had beacon I went the wrong way and finished a decent portion of the base only to swim 60 more meters getting a notice on my PDA: &quot;Warning, multiple leviathan class lifeforms detected, are you sure whatever you are doing is worth it&quot; I look around and see a reaper in the distance.... Luckily my only death on this playthrough is still radiation that one time before the Aurora exploded
