  Modder here- Optoctrees are terrain files. Each "batch" correlates to a section of the map (like minecraft's 'chunks'). Deleting the first batch removed some random part of the world. Deleting the rest removed the rest of the world xD

  Game dev here, the reason why it recognized the lost river and the jellyshroom caves is likely because the biomes are being determined based on the players position on the 2D map which was stored in the .bin file. Since it's really hard to make a 3D map like this, for cave biomes they'll likely be collider based and not determined by the map.

  The reason deleting the stuff in the managed folder and the one dll outside of it immediately stopped the game from loading is that that&apos;s when you finally started deleting executable code instead of just data (stats, locations, assets, anything that&apos;s completely meaningless outside the context of the game itself)
