  Just a thought…As a senior, &nbsp;I never know when I’m going to have a day where I feel unwell. So I have a small shelf where I keep what I call ‘sick food’. I’ve got soup, crackers, small containers or apple sauce, etc. And I always keep in a good nut butter as it’s a really good source of protein for those days when you just don’t have the energy to cook.

  Much love from Philadelphia, PA. I&apos;m 35 and alone, no kids and even though it can be a bit sad sometimes I&apos;ve learned how to appreciate and enjoy my peace and quiet. Alone doesn&apos;t mean you&apos;re lonely. It could also mean you have learned how to be happy with just yourself and not need the validation and approval of anyone. Life is all about perspective. Not everyone needs to do what everyone else is doing.

  I always thought Japanese people were exaggerating being like ohh 10C is soooo cold (in Canada that&apos;s sweater weather), but then I went to Japan in the winter and realized how bad insulation is in the houses I WAS SHIVERING. I suddenly understood.

  the Japanese people are SO clever in their packaging. &nbsp;Even handles on the tissues and the bathroom tissues make for such convenience to carrying home. &nbsp;Always thinking of the person using the final product. &nbsp;Love it.

  Well, it can’t have been easy to film and edit when you’re feeling lousy, but this day in the life video was so engaging and interesting. &nbsp;I’m always in awe at the orderliness and calmness of the Japanese shopping experience. &nbsp;Thanks for another fab video.

  I always add the Miso at the end when the veggies are done that way you don&apos;t kill the probiotics that is in the Miso. When it is boiled it kills all the healthy fermented bacteria

  When I was living &amp; working in Japan, I recall another expat complaining about the cold to a Japanese colleague. The colleague’s response? “Keith, it’s winter. You’re SUPPOSED to be cold.” 😆 I admit, I really miss the heated carpets. 😊

  One of the things that I do when I pack away my seasonal linens and clothes, &nbsp;I&apos;ll put in a couple of dryer sheets or I&apos;ll put one of my favorite essential oils onto a piece of paper towel into the container that I&apos;m storing the items in.
