  I&apos;m disappointed that these original videos didn&apos;t do so well. This is one of my favorite topics in the history of the western hemisphere, along with the emancipation of Saint-Domingue and the exploits of Simon Bolivar.

  The fact that there hasn&apos;t been any major series or movie adaptation of the Norse&apos;s first visits and contact with pre-Colonial America (outside &nbsp;the final arc of Vinland Saga) is truly astonishing. It has so much potential.

  Hey Aidan! I did a study once on the Stone Chambers of New England. It is my hypothesis they are Viking waystations used to determine position in a strange land and store supplies for travelers. Its worth looking into

  Considering the discussion of the Vinland location, it&apos;s worth pointing out that sea levels have risen not insignificantly since the sagas take place, possibly changing depths of inlets and passages, as well as costal landmarks. <br>Also, the &quot;mini ice age&quot; that happened not to long (relatively speaking) after the early expeditions could have made the grapes, that the area was named for, disappear by the time of greater European expansion.

  I believe one important thing that should be considered, is the change in the coastline and depth of the oceans over time. Depending on how much lower the sea was, that could change a lot.
