  1st Marriage: married 15 years, together for 26 yrs. <br><br>We are childhood sweethearts from a major city. <br><br>I think the key to a relationship is communication and affection.

  I was married. Not married anymore and probably will never do it again. I do remember the proposal. True story... He took me to pick out the ring and told me he would hold onto it until the right moment. One night, while watching The Shining, he got down on one knee and popped the question, you know, right at that moment when Jack in breaking down the door with the ax. Looking back, that should have been a red flag.
