I love the first picture. It was snapped right after Fischer's blunder in game 1 that cost him the game and frustrated him so badly that he actually quit. A temper tantrum almost cost Bobby the title. He didn't show up for game 2 but somehow came out of the anger for game 3 and the rest is history.

The whole video started to fall apart at 30:54. It was still very cool and I really liked it but those moves after that mark would have never been played.

Anatoly Karpov was 24 years old by 23 May 1975 and defeated Spassky and Korchnoi in semifinal and final Candidates matches, respectively, in 1974, not in a Candidates tournament.

I enjoyed your analysis of this game. Each move explained as advertised. Your voice is even very pleasant. But then I was slightly taken aback with your comment at the very end suggesting that I have been "living under a rock" if I wasn't aware of how this historic match plays out. Very cute comment but also slightly insulting. We cannot all be as intelligent and informed as you.

Fischer was pretty sure he could beat Spassky. He was not sure he could beat young Karpov. Fischer was most afraid of chess playing computer programs. They had book knowledge of the openings. That's why he invented Fischer Random Chess.
