Hey everyone. First, thank you SO much for the response to the video. Better than I could’ve expected– so much kindness in these comments. Second, I want to make note of a couple corrections that some have pointed out. This was a big video, so it was inevitable I was going to screw up some things.

-- The November 2025 Mexico City Protests shown in the montage at 1:25:27– to give you the full context, the protests were initially Gen-Z driven and supposedly organized to oppose corruption within the Mexican Government. The deeper story here is that the protests were actually branded as a Gen-Z march (there is a long history of student protests in Mexico) through the manipulation of influencers and opposition figures to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s administration by right-wing billionaires. In other words, the protest was a farce. There is valid concern about the shortcomings of the Mexican government but this particular protest just wasn't it. This was a late addition to the video and I admittedly fell for the popular media reporting on this one. If I knew the truth I would NOT have included it. I’m disappointed in myself for not digging deeper into it, and completely understand anyone I let down/upset by including it. Total mistake on my part.

-- This video started off with the disclaimer that “No Generative AI was used in the making of this video.” As vigilant I tried to be, I seemed to have accidentally included an image of the Haitian Revolution that was generated with Google Gemini AI. I did not generate it, but again– I hope you understand this was a complete accident and that I would never knowingly include AI-generated material in my video. Fuck AI.

-- The birth and death date of Jean Maximillien Lamarque at 2:42 incorrectly says “1802 - 1885.” Lamarque was born in 1770 and died in 1832. I’m pretty sure this happened from copy-pasting the title for Victor Hugo and forgetting to change the years. Oops.

-- This isn’t so much a correction but a clarification as to why I included something. During the Ferrix Uprising, I made reference to "the bombing of the King David hotel by the Irgun fighters." The Irgun were a far-right, zionist terrorist group that were as opposed to British occupation as they were to the native Palestinian population. Not a group you would think to compare the Ferrixians to. The only reason I mentioned them was because Tony Gilroy has cited the bombing of the King David hotel as inspiration for the Ferrix Uprising in multiple interviews. It merrits repeating that Gilroy was a storyteller first, historian second on Andor, and beyond his clear interest in the imagery of the bombing itself, he was probably more interested in the Irgun for how they organized themselves, than what their idelogy or goals were. If it was short-sighted of me to echo Gilroy's inspiration for that moment in the same video that I acknowledge the Nakba and genocide of the Palestinian people, than I once again apologize to anyone I've offended or upset. Forever and always, Free Palestine.

Again, I appreciate you guys keeping me on my toes. I care deeply about accurate information and hold myself to a high standard, but I am only human. Thank you for taking the time to check out the video. There will be an Andor Season 2 video eventually. Stone and sky, y'all.

The production quality on these rivals industry-produced documentaries, I can't even imagine how much time this took. The thorough research, excellent analysis and brilliant editing always make these an instant watch. I've also been listening to Duncan's Revolutions so I especially enjoy seeing you make a lot of historical connections.

Calling this a youtube video would be doing a gargantuan disservice to the quality and level of love and labor that went into making this.
Fucking Bravo. Bravo.

The power of Andor is such that “I have Friends Everywhere” has become a battle cry against oppression in real life. The power of stories to inspire people in full effect.

Thank you for the note about no “AI” being used in this video, Artorr. I genuinely appreciate that and wish more creators would do the same.

Andor is one of those things where every once in a while I need to take a step back and think about how insane it is that it even happened.

The amount of research and editing skills needed to combine revolutions from Haiti to Russia, while maintaing a non-exposition dump flow is so unbelievably impressive, incredible work!
