  No man on earth, no devil in Hades will ever convince me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not Christ's own true and living church on earth. I am a Latter-day Saint!

  Sadly at &nbsp;younger age I wanted to leave the <br>Church. &nbsp;This is because being offended by those who are friends I love and cherish chose to continue to do so. &nbsp;I started looking for something to replace the restoration altogether. &nbsp;Nothing could take the place of the appearance of God and His Son to the boy prophet, the book of Mormon, John the Baptist returning the priesthood of Aaron, apostolic leadership of the early Church bringing back the Melchizedek priesthood, Moses with the keys of the gathering of scattered Israel, Elijah with the sealing powers, and now the missionaries all over the world, temples dotting the world over. We are on the eleventh of our existence on earth while we anticipate the second coming of the Mighty Son of God to claim His Church and people that is prepared to meet him. Bless be His name and His Church. God bless Anerica, and the world of believers in the true God and Church.

  I think he was everyone&apos;s favorite speaker at General Conference. Everyone should read his book &quot;A Marvelous Work and a Wonder&quot;. That&apos;s a great book for investigators.

  I had a chance to shake &nbsp;his hand and thank him as he left the Law building at BYU in a wheelchair. I was coming in and his entourage was just leaving. I told him he could never know how much his testimonies inspired my faith and desire as a missionary. I miss his style of preaching. We have a marvelous gift as Latter-day Saints, while we recognize the greatness of truths and people across all faiths, there is nothing that compares with the restitution of all things, which we have.

  I agree with that Catholic priest. The Catholics have a claim to authority through their historical claims to priesthood lineage. The LDS church has the claim to authority through revelation and angels conferring that priesthood authority. Protestants have no claim to priesthood authority at all, since they broke off from the original Catholic church, and make no claim to receiving the priesthood from another source. They claim the &quot;priesthood of all believers&quot;, which basically means you have the priesthood if you feel like it, or they downplay the importance of authority.<br><br>I once had several theological discussions with my Baptist friend in high school. One day I told him that if I wasn&apos;t a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I would be a Catholic, because they are the only other church with a reasonable claim to authority. He didn&apos;t like it when I told him that!

  He was one of the greatest missionaries we will ever know - what knowledge of the scriptures and of the restoration - powerful in spirit and might! What a witness and testimony!
