I first heard of birkin bags because of jeffree star and it amazes me how he always talks about "cruelty free make up" and things like that and then he goes ahead and buys these bags, made from RARE animals.

This bag was designed to be functional for the working women. It's crazy how now it's only to show how rich you are. Somewhere along the process the bag has failed it's true purpose.

I just love how Jane Birkin used hers. She wasn’t afraid to use it and she said it on many occasions that bags should be used and loved, otherwise why buy them?

The fact that you have to be "invited" to buy a bag and you don't even have a choice as to what kind it is, despite putting down a mortgage for it, for some reason, annoyed me to the highest degree.
